Asante Kotoko, according to reports gathered by The Post indicates that the club would soon appoint a new coach.
Kotoko sacked Maxwell Konadu in December and appoint Johnson Smith as interim manager. In January, the Ghana Football Association announced the club has “confirmed Abdul Gazale” as their new manager as Smith does not have License A certificate to become the head coach.
However, after being eliminated from the CAF Champions League and the Confederation Cup, the Board have reportedly agreed to appoint a new coach.
According to the report, Kotoko is likely to appoint a foreign coach as they cannot find a top-notch coach from the pool of coaches in Ghana.
