Kotoko to establish women’s team

Kumasi Asante Kotoko will soon establish a women’s team, according to reports.

The decision to have a women’s team is part of the Asantehene, Otumfuo Osei Tutu’s plans to make the club one of the biggest clubs in Africa again.

The Post understands board member, Evelyn Nsiah Asare who is also the president of Nana Afia Kobi Stars FC in Kumasi will be the one to help the club establish the women’s team.

Asare, according to the report will oversee the nurturing of the players from the youth level to the senior team level.
