Asante Kotoko will start next season with a new bus, according to reports gathered.
Kotoko traveled more than any other team in the just ended premier league season, covering 9,656 km according to the CEO, Nana Yaw Amponsah as they played all their home games in Obuasi and Accra.
When Nana Yaw talked to the fans during the Time with the CEO on Ceek, he stated that the bus they currently use is part of the reason why some of the players struggled with injuries. In his interview on Oyerepa FM on Monday, he mentioned Keyekeh has one of the players who struggled to find the right spot to sit in the bus as it affects his legs.
According to a report by Oyerepa Sports, the club spent about ₵100,000 on maintaining the bus. It is not clear when the new bus will arrive but reports of the club’s incoming bus has been in the news for months.
