Kumasi Asante Kotoko will install CCTV cameras at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium to prevent people from using illegal means to let them enter the stadium for free during Kotoko matches in the CAF Champions Legue.
During Kotoko’s campaign in the CAF Confederation Cup last season, the club installed the cameras at the gates and it yielded the results they wanted.
Some people were caught on camera selling the same tickets to different people and also allowing some fans to be that the stadium without paying the gate fee.
Although the management of the club indicated they will report the incident to the police, The Post understands that those who were caught in the act were rather warned to desist from the act.
But the management of Kotoko has taken a different decision this time around. This season, anyone who will be caught in the act will be handed over to the police to be prosecuted.
