Kumasi Asante Kotoko will have their pre-season this year in European.
In the past two three years, the club has had their pre-season in the United Arab Emirates, Sudan and Ghana.
According to the report, the club will play two German clubs and one Swiss club. The Porcupine Warriors will play German clubs FC Gelsenkirchen-Schalke O4 and Arminia Bielefeld, while the Switzerland club that has been confirmed as their opponents is Grasshopper Club Zurich. However, The Post understands talks are ongoing for Kotoko to play another Swiss club.
Currently, Schalke O4 plays in the Bundesliga 2 while Arminia Bielefeld plays in the 3 Liga after being relegated from the Bundesliga 2 last year.
Schalke are 7 times Germany Champions, 5 German Cups/DFB Pokal Cups and 1 German Super Cup.
Bielefeld, on the other hand, has only won trophies i the lower tiers of German football.
Grasshoppers also plays in the Swiss Super League and have won the league 27 times, 19 Swiss Cups, 2 Swiss League Cups and 1 Swiss Super Cup.
