Asante Kotoko are reportedly preparing to report the Confederation of African Football (CAF) and Sudanese club, Al Hilal Omdurman to the Court of Arbitration for Sports (CAS).
Kotoko was supposed to play Al Hilal Omdurman in the second leg of the CAF Champions League last Wednesday, however, the match was called off after seven players of the club tested positive for Coronavirus.
Kotoko suspected that the test results of their players had been tampered with as one of the test results had been written as a letter. The club requested for the original medical report but they were told they cannot find it.

Kwame Poku, whose test result was at the centre of the argument did another test at the Military Hospital in Khartoum and it came out as negative.
Due to the difference in the test result, Kotoko believes they have substantial evidence to report the incident to CAS.

The Confederation of African Football (CAF), on the other hand, has in a tweet added Al Hilal to the list of clubs that have made it to the group stage of the competition.
CAF has also failed to inform Kotoko of their decision after Kotoko reported to them that their Covid-19 test results have been tampered with.
Kotoko has informed their international lawyer, Nilo Effori to get to work.
The Post understands the match commissioner for the game would also be sued by Kotoko.
