Ghana Premier League champions, Asante Kotoko is set to announce the signing of another player named Mohammed Sheriff.
Last season, the club signed defensive midfielder, Mohammed Sheriff who ended up playing different positions before he got injured.
The new Mohammed Sheriff is a defender and played for Liberty Professionals. He had trials with the French club, Bordeaux but could not sign for the club as the club got relegated and they also had financial issues.
Sheriff has been training with Kotoko since his return to Ghana and will be announced as a new Porcupine Warrior soon.
According to reports in the media, Kotoko might sell or send one defender on loan after the announcement of Sheriff.
