Kumasi Asante Kotoko, according to reports wants the Normalisation Committee to postpone their game Aduana Stars FC in the ongoing Special Competition.
Kotoko’s decision to ask the NC to postpone their game is because of their match against Ivorian side, ASEC Mimosas at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium on Sunday in honour of the Asantehene, Otumfuo Osei Tutu II on his 20th Anniversary as the Asantehene.
The Post understands that Kotoko has already written to the NC and they are waiting for the NC to let them know if the match can be postponed or not.
The last round of group matches in the NC Special Competition will be played on Wednesday.
Kotoko is yet to qualify from their group as both Ashanti Gold and Medeama who are in second and third in the group behind Kotoko can also qualify.
