The Post understands the management of Asante Kotoko is not happy with Sogne Yacouba’s situation at the moment.
According to the report, Sogne Yacouba has not been training due to an injury he sustained in training and the management of the club believes this might affect his value.
The club is waiting for the best offer since Yacouba has made it clear he will not play for the club again. The Post understands that Yacouba’s decision not to training is due to an advice he has been given. The player, according to the report, has been told not to play or train if he feels he is not 100% percent fit.
Although it has not been confirmed, there are reports that the club wants to sell the Burkinabe striker for $1, 000, 000 but due to the lack of match fitness, the club might not get the amount they are looking for.
Also, the management believes if the player continues to stay on the sideline, interested clubs will take advantage of the situation to buy him at a lower price as he has one year left on his contract.
