Former Kumasi Asante Kotoko striker, Yahaya Mohammed does not believe his former club has a high chance of making it to the group stage of the CAF Champions League after beating San Pedro 1-0 in Kumasi.
According to him, though it looks like Kotoko might find it difficult to make it to the group stage, he believes if the team gets ‘character’ on Sunday they can win the match.
The Aduana Stars FC striker believes if his former club play like how Tottenham played against Ajax in last season’s UEFA Champions League semi-final in Amsterdam, they can win the game.
“It is about the character. They should forget about the intimidation that will come,” he said in an interview played on Kessben FM.
He advised the players to give their all because whatever that will happen their name will be in the history book.
