Kumasi Asante Kotoko SC has denied knowledge of any new kit for next season.

This week, there were reports and images of a Kotoko jersey which according to the reports will be used next season.

The club on its Twitter page stated they have not entered in any contract “with the purported kit sponsor.”

Also, they confirm they are negotiating with the purported kit sponsor, however, they have not reached an agreement with them.

Contrary to widespread report of a new kit sponsor making rounds on social media, the club wants to categorically state that;

1. It has not entered into any contract with the purported kit sponsor.
2. Although there are negotiations no decision has been taken.#AKSC

The supposed jersey is not different from the club’s current jersey. With the kit sponsor, telecom giants MTN logo was in front of the shirt.
