With the President of Ghana on a 5-day tour of the Ashanti Region to see ongoing projects in the region, The Post went round to ask the residents in the city what they would like to tell the President should they meet him.
With the development of the region as the main thing most of the people we talked to had on their mind, others indicated they want the President to fix the economy as the recent increase in fuel prices has increased the prices of commodities.

Those who were concern about development in the region were more interested in the state of the roads in the region.
It has been revealed that only 30% of the roads in Kumasi are in good shape.
Residents of the Garden City complained bitterly about the state of the road in the region as potholes on the roads became visible even from a bird’s eye view until the government intervened.
The President, however, on his 5-day tour of the region has also promised the help the region develop.
On his first day at the Manhyia Palace, while paying a courtesy call on the Asantehene, he said: “I have not forgotten Kumasi”.
“It is not possible I will forget about Kumasi”, he added.
He talked about things he will do to help develop the region before leaving to start his tour of the region.
His tour of the region will end this week.
