The PRO of Kotoko, Kennedy Boakye Ansah has said the Executive Chairman of Kotoko, Kwame Kyei does not make all the decisions at the club.
Ansah in an interview on Ashh FM in Kumasi said the chairman consults the management before decisions are made.
He further indicated that he once spent hours discussing the way forward of the club with him on the phone, adding that if he was making all the decisions why would he have such a long conversation with him?
Ansah’s comment was in response to the club’s former lawyer, Sarfo Duku who after resigning from his position at the club said the chairman takes all the decisions at the club.
Duku said that after agreeing with former coach C.K Akonnor on how to have an out of court settlement, the Chairman declined the offer and the club ended up losing the case when it went to the Players Status Committee.
Ansah in another interview on Kessben FM said that Sarfo Duku was part of the decisions the club made; therefore, he would have also been praised had things gone their way especially when he led the club’s legal team.
Although he did not mention any names or give a hint, he said the club has found Duku’s successor and at the right time, they would make him known to the fans.
