Tragic details have emerged regarding the cause of death of Felicia Abena Oparebea, the young lady who fell victim to an alleged murder by her boyfriend, Godwin Darko, in Koforidua Trom last month.

As revealed in court by Sergeant George Defia, a police prosecutor, the postmortem results from the Effiduase Koforidua St. Joseph Hospital have attributed Felicia’s death to exsanguination, caused by chop wounds to the neck, and multiple stab wounds. Shockingly, it was reported that the late student was stabbed a staggering 12 times by her boyfriend, Godwin Darko.
The court proceedings shed light on the unfortunate events leading to the tragedy. The police inspector stated that the deceased and the suspect were engaged in a heated argument concerning an aborted pregnancy before the incident occurred.
Currently, the key docket is being prepared for further submission to the Attorney General’s office for guidance, suggesting that the case is still under investigation.
In light of these distressing revelations, the suspect, Godwin Darko, was remanded back into police custody during the court session presided over by Nana Ama Dabbah Fynn. A new court date of August 8, 2023, has been set for the ongoing legal proceedings.
