Strongman has revealed that leaving Sarkodie’s Sarkcess Music label was a pivotal moment in his career, despite the numerous benefits he gained during his time there. One of the main advantages of his departure was the increase in his income, as he took full control of managing his music career.
During an interview with kbNkansah.com, Strongman explained that his exit from the label granted him the freedom to explore various avenues for generating income. He reflected on his past financial decisions, mentioning that before joining SarkCess, he had some money that he could have used to buy a car. However, he spent it on other things such as iPhones, daily expenses, promotional activities, and maintaining a lavish lifestyle to match the high-rated status of Sarkcess.
Since becoming independent, Strongman has been able to measure his spending wisely and make decisions that align with his career goals. He expressed gratitude to Sarkodie for his guidance and mentorship, emphasizing that he never intended to diminish the support he received from him.
“After I left, life became less stressful,” Strongman shared. “I am not saying Sarkodie didn’t help me, and I have never made such a statement. However, I can confidently say that my level has changed. When I was with Sarkcess, I was at level 1 or form 1. But now, I have moved up to form two, and I don’t intend to stay there. My aim is to reach form 3.”
Strongman also acknowledged the tremendous support from his fans, recognizing the significant role they played in his success. He expressed his appreciation for their loyalty and promised to continue delivering quality music.
With newfound independence and a determined mindset, Strongman is carving his own path in the music industry, seizing opportunities, and striving to reach greater heights in his career.
