Legon student arrested for attempting to rape another student

A man believed to be a student of the University of Ghana and a member of the Alexander Adum Kwapong Hall has been apprehended for allegedly attempting to rape a female student who is also a member of the Hall, Universe Newsroom reports.

The incident is said to have happened around 11: 50 pm when the female student was asleep.

According to the report, some residents of the rushed to the scene when they heard distress call from the girl’s room.

The hall authorities came to the rescue to the man and saved him from the teeming crowd that had gathered outside the room.

The identities of the suspect and the victim have not yet been revealed and it is also not clear if there were other people in the room or not.
