The 7-time Ballon d’Or winner chose not to attend the press conference after making his debut against New York Red Bull on Saturday.
Even though Messi started the match on the bench, he came on to seal Inter Miami’s 2-0 victory with a remarkable goal.
According to information from Goal, Miami spokeswoman Molly Dreska informed the media that Messi would not be participating in the press conference, potentially resulting in sanctions for his absence.
As of now, a decision regarding whether Messi will face punishment or not remains pending, as he continues to impress with his performance in Miami.
