There are reports that Kumasi Asante Kotoko is on the lookout for a new coach.
After the club debunked the rumours that the club is not going to sack the coach, C.K Akonnor, there are rumours that the assistant coach, Akakpo Patron will be sacked.
According to the rumours, it is C.K Akonnor who has requested for the new assistant coach, however, C.K according to the rumours has denied it.
After Kotoko’s elimination from the CAF Confederation Cup, there were calls for Akonnor to be sacked by a section of the fans as his tactics were bad.
It is not clear if Kotoko is really looking for a new assistant coach but Patron’s dismal has been in the news for a long time although Akonnor’s own overshadowed it.
Those who want Patron to be sacked believes his output is very low so Kotoko should hire an assistant coach who is at par with the head coach or better than the head coach.
