Former president and presidential candidate for the opposition, NDC, John Mahama has criticized the president, Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo for abandoning hospitals he did not complete while he was in office.
Mahama lashed out at the president for not doing anything to make the health sector better since he came to office. According to him, with little resources, his track record in the health sector is better than that of the president who has enough resources to do more than he did.
He posited that he employed 41, 480 nurses and increased the number of health workers to over 62, 000 people from 11, 125 workers.
He has also promised to build six new regional hospitals and district hospitals should he win the December 2020 elections.
