Former Ghana’s Ambassador to the United Arab Emirates, Daniel Osei has talked against former President Mahama’s interest in leading the party again.
According to, “it is not true that most NDC supporters want him [Mahama] back” unlike what it has been made known to Ghanaians.
He said some of those who were with his former boss when he was making the announcement are not happy with his return.
“The NDC has to critically examine” the performance of Mahama as he believes their party must look beyond Mahama as their leader.
“Those who are educated and knew what was going on in governance do not want Mahama back”.
He stated clearly that he has been told Mahama has not changed.
“100% of the people who have spoken to me says the man has not changed”.
Moreover, under his leadership, the party could not get votes in “his own home region” as “he could not hold them together”.
The former President, he said wanted “absolute power” and “he engaged” in actions that we were going to give him that power.
