The MP for Obuasi East, Dr Richard Boakye Yiadom has lashed out at former President John Dramani Mahama for saying the Nana Addo led administration has failed to finish the construction of the Obuasi-Anhwia Nkwanta road which he awarded to a contractor.
Speaking on Angel FM in Kumasi, the MP said there is no document that proves that the road linking Obuasi and Anhwia Nkwanta was awarded to a contractor.
He said the NPP government has been able to pay all the contractors the Mahama led administration failed to pay.
He described Mahama as a drunkard who is asleep and has been asked a question.
Dr Boakye-Yiadom asked Mahama to bring forth a document that shows the road was awarded to a contractor to work on.
The former President, Mahama during his tour of Obuasi told the people of Obuasi that the NPP has not been able to construct the road because of the lies he told Ghanaians to win the election.
The MP, on the other hand, said he is even happy the supposed contractor did not start work on the road as the contractor could have constructed the road anyhow.
