Man arrested for attempted robbery at Asunafo South

A man whose name has been given as Kooko has been arrested at Asunafo South in the Brong Ahafo Region for attempted robbery.

The man was arrested after his three other accomplices escaped.
According to reports gathered, Kooko and one of his accomplices entered the house they were going to rob while two others waited for them outside.
Unfortunately for them, a man who was awake at that time saw them entering the house and started shouting.
The two outside the house escaped while the other person who entered the house with Kooko also managed to escape.

Kooko was caught and after interrogations, he told the police that one of the guys who was with him is called Acheampong.
Kooko will appear before the court while the police hunt for the other three people.
