In a deeply distressing incident, a 35-year-old woman named Grace Kutor has been reported dead in Ashaiman. According to sources, Grace was killed by her husband during the night, and the horrifying act took place in front of their 4-year-old son.
According to a report by kessbenonline.com, Grace succumbed to multiple gunshot wounds inflicted by her husband. It is believed that the man suspected his wife of infidelity, which led to a heated altercation between the couple in the middle of the night, while their young son was a witness to the tragic event.
The report indicated that the husband had been harboring suspicions that Grace was involved in a romantic relationship with her suppliers, whom she had been meeting in the early hours of the morning to collect supplies. The situation escalated last Thursday when Grace met with her suppliers and later brought home bread and fruits. The husband allegedly accused her of obtaining the items from her boyfriend, triggering a heated argument.
According to Stephen Adzka, the reporter for Kessben FM in Ashaiman, the husband committed the heinous act on Friday, May 26, 2023. He fatally shot his wife in the head, causing her immediate death. Following the incident, the husband attempted to flee but was involved in a motor accident. Despite the accident, he managed to escape and went into hiding within Ashaiman.
However, the authorities were able to apprehend the husband and he was subsequently arrested by the police. The police have confirmed his involvement in the crime and are currently conducting further investigations into the case.
