Nana Agyei Mireku, a member of the NDC, contesting for the Deputy Youth Organizer at Abetifi in the Eastern Region has made it clear he is going to curse his party officials in advance in other to prevent them from favouring anyone in the vetting.
Nana Agyei Mireku went to his party office with schnapps and eggs to fulfill his promise.
The curse, according to him is to protect the NDC so that party officials can vote for those who can help the party win power.
He also stated that he has noticed some time ago they rig the elections to favour people whose candidacy does not help the party.
‘This time around we need people who will help the party not people who want to hold positions.’
Nana Agyei Mireku also promised to call on the gods before they do the voting in other to deter delegates from double voting and also Electoral Commissioners from helping anyone.
The follow-up curse will not only cover the constituency elections but also both national and regional.
