The man identified as Nana Owusu has cursed a policeman at Agona Port in the Central Region for taking GHC 30 from him as a bribe.
Narrating his story, Nana Owusu said he parked his motorbike by the roadside when he got to a police barrier in the area. A policeman came to him was told him he had parked wrongly.
‘Usually, we pay them GHC 5 when they stop us’, he said.
He said he took GHC 5 from his pocket to give it to the policeman but he told him, he wants the key to his motorbike and not the money.
Nana Owusu said the policeman took the motorbike to their tent and told him he will take it to the police station.
Nana Owusu said he pleaded with him to give him his bike but the policeman ignored him.
Nana Owusu, according to him, gave the policeman GHC 50 and the policeman gave him GHC 20.
Nana Owusu said he got angry because he makes GHC 30 a day from the motorbike so the policeman cannot take all the sales he had made that day.
The policeman stood on his ground and told Nana Owusu he will not give him the money.
Nana Owusu who felt he had been cheated by the policeman got angry, went to town, bought some eggs and went back to the police barrier to curse the policeman saying the gods should kill him if he does not charge anyone GHC 30 for wrong parking too.
The policeman even after the curse told Nana Owusu he does not care and will not even give him the money.
