Man dies after being stabbed in the testis during a fight over dog meat

A 50-year old man, Bignani Takia has been stabbed to death by his 52-year old elder brother, Nwenle Takia during an argument over dog meat at Bunkpurugu-Yunyoo in the Northern Region.

According to the report gathered, the two men had sacrificed the dog as well as a goat in the memory of their late father. However, the two men got into a fight during the family ritual and Bignani lost his life.

Bignani was stabbed in the testis, armpit and in his left breast by his elder brother during the fight.

Bignani is said to have died instantly and his body was taken to Faith Community hospital in Nakpanduri for an autopsy.

His brother, Nwenle has been arrested by the police.
