A man has died after his dead girlfriend came to him to ask for money.
The incident, which is out of this world happened at Akronwe near Bomfa in the Ashanti Region.
According to the report, a 17-year old girl called Dora got pregnant for her boyfriend called Anthony. Dora’s parents informed Anthony’s parents about their daughter’s pregnancy but Anthony’s family said they would not let their son accept responsibility.
According to the report, Anthony’s family said Dora might be pregnant for someone else due to her behaviour, however, Anthony’s family later changed their stance after meeting with Dora’s family later on and Dora moved into their home.
When Dora was six months pregnant, she fell sick and her family was informed about it. One night, Dora’s sickness got worst and she was taken to a hospital at Konongo.
According to Anthony’s family, Dora died when they got to the entrance of the hospital. As a result, they did not enter the hospital and went back to Akronwe. They did not take her dead body to her family or the morgue but instead, they took it to the cemetery and left it there.
Dora’s body was found by a woman who went to the cemetery at dawn and she went to Akronwe to inform her family.
Dora’s family went to the cemetery and after seeing the body of their daughter, they went to confront Anthony’s family and they said they left it there due to her pregnancy. They told Dora’s family they were going to buy a coffin to give her a proper burial.
Dora’s father, Okyeame Sarfo who does not live in the town was informed of the death of her daughter but when he got to the town, her daughter was already buried.
He confronted Anthony and his family but they insulted him for not taking care of her daughter.
According to the report, Dora’s father was given ₵500 as compensation.
After some time, Anthony left Akronwe to Accra as no girl wanted to go out with him.
In Accra, Anthony started seeing Dora wherever he goes.
According to the report, Dora would approach Anthony and ask him to give her money to buy food for their child.
As Dora started showing herself to Anthony more often, Anthony left Accra and returned to Akronwe and informed his family about what is happening.
Dora continued to pay Anthony visits to ask for money until Anthony fell sick and died at Agogo Government Hospital.
