Man found dead in a fishpond at Bechem

A man has been found dead in a fishpond at Bechem in the Bono Region.

The unidentified man was found dead by fish farmers in the area when they went to work.

The man is believed to be a trader to sells insecticides and pesticides as he left such items and the clothes he was wearing near the pond he died in.

It is not clear if he was murdered or he tried to swim and got drowned.

The body has been taken to the morgue for an autopsy and the police have started their investigations to find out how he got there.
