The police in the Central Region on Tuesday, July 15, secured the conviction of a 25-year-old man, Kolie Samuel, 25, for robbery.
According to the report, Samuel, robbed a woman around 5:30 AM at Millennium City near Golden Pride Preparatory School in Gomoa East on July 10, 2025.
Samuel seized the victim’s handbag containing an iPhone 16 Pro Max and a purse with an unspecified amount of money.
The police arrested Samuel on the same day at his hideout at Ngleshie Amanfro, a suburb of Accra on the same day he robbed the victim, and a search led to the recovery of the victim’s phone and several stolen items, including four mobile phones, AirPods, jewelry, memory cards, Dell laptop, and other items.

The Ofankor Circuit Court sentenced the 25-year-old to 14 years for robbery and 5 years for causing harm, to be served concurrently.
