A man believed to be in his late sixties or early seventies has been jailed for insulting, threatening and telling a judge he will curse him.
According to report, on the day of the incident, the man was at the court due to issues he is having with his wife he has been married to for about 25 years.
His wife asked the court to tell her husband to let her go to their house and take some clothes as she has been wearing the same cloth since she left their house.
The man is believed to have told his wife he bought the clothes for her so she will not give the clothes to her.
His wife brought a witness to confirm to the judge what she said was true.
During the hearing, the man was given the chance to ask the witness questions and it was at that point that the man lost his temper.
According to the report, the man while asking the questions asked a question the judge told him he had already asked.
The man got angry, told the judge that he has seen that he is interested in the case as well as his wife.
The man threatened and insulted the judge and mentioned the name of a god and told the judge he will curse him.
The interpreter at the court translated everything to the judge and the judge jailed him.
The incident happened at a court in Obuasi in the Ashanti Region.
