A man has been arrested at Nkoranza in the Bono Region for killing his friend.
Akwasi Kudum, 37 went to his friend, Yaw Sarkodie’s house to borrow ¢10. 00 and used his Tecno phone as collateral.
Kudum got money early and went to Sarkodie’s house to pay him. Sarkodie told Kudum that he has sold the phone so he should keep the money.
This turned into an argument and Kudum hit him in the head with a stone. Sarkodie collapsed and was pronounced dead when he was taken to St. Augustine’s Hospital.
Kudum before his arrest was beating by Yaw Sarkodie’s son, Collins Sarkodie and two of his friends.
Collins Sarkodie and his friends took to their heels when the police came to arrest them.
Police are currently on the search for the three young men to help assist them in their investigations.
