Mane becomes Africa’s highest paid player after signing for Bayern Munich

Senegalese international, Sadio Mane has become the highest paid African footballer after signing for German club, Bayern Munich on a 3-year deal.

Mane was earning £100,000 a week during his time at Liverpool and he was the 11th hightest paid player during his six years stay at the Merseyside club.

He will now be taking home £250, 000 a week and has now overtaken his former team-mate, Mohammed Salah who earns £220,000 a week at Liverpool.

His reign at the top might not last long as Salah is in talks with Liverpool for a new contract.
