Asante Kotoko’s Franck Mbella Thierry Etouga scored a spectacular goal in their game against Aduana Stars as they played a one all draw at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium today.
In the 38th minute, Mfegue gave Etouga a brilliant pass and without touching the ball, shot it from behind the 18-yard box to give Kotoko the lead.

However, in what should have been a good day for the Cameroonian, Etouga missed two penalties in the second half. Aduana Stars goalkeeper Joseph Addo saved the first penalty and the second penalty hit the post.
Had he scored the two goals, it would have taken his goal tally to 21 which would have made him the second top scorer in a season in the league for Kotoko, same as the legendary Opoku Afriyie.
As it stands now, his 19 goals this season in the league places him in the third spot.
Also, it would have placed him behind Hearts of Oak Ismael Addo who holds the record for the highest number of goals in a season with 22 goals.
Unfortunately for Etouga and Kotoko, Bright Adjei who at a point in time was competing with Etouga for the goal-king race equalised for Aduana with a header in the 90th minute.
