Medeama SC has beaten Accra Hearts of Oak 3-0 at the Akoon Park in Tarkwa.
Medeama got a penalty in the first minute after the ball struck Kofi Kordzi’s hand. Medeama’s Prince Opoku beautifully scored from the spot-kick to give the home side an early lead.
Manaf could have made it one-all for the Phobians, however, he failed to convert his chance from the 18-yard box.
Opoku made it two for the home side before the end of the first half.
The second half was more of a midfield battle as the two clubs showed their strength in that area.
Nana Kofi Babli made it three for Medeama after the Phobian defenders failed to clear a cross from Medeama’s Agyei Boakye.
The win has given Medeama six points while Hearts is yet to win a game after two matches.
