Medeama have sacked their head coach Yaw Preko and his assistant Yaw Acheampong after a trophyless 2020/21 campaign.
The two former Ghana internationals were appointed in the middle of the recently ended season following the shock exits of Samuel Boadu and assistant coach Hamza Obeng.
Preko and Acheampong failed to impress as Medeama finished outside the top four in the Ghana Premier League and suffered a humiliating 3-0 defeat against Hearts of Oak in the MTN FA Cup finals.
Before their arrival at TNA Stadium, Medeama had a better chance of winning the league compared to Hearts of Oak, who ended the season with two trophies thanks to Boadu’s magic.
Reports are rife that Medeama have made contact with Techiman Eleven Wonders boss Ignatius Osei-Fosu to become their new head coach.
