Asante Kotoko chances of signing highly rated midfielder Richard Boadu has become very slim.
Boadu’s move to Kotoko reached advanced stages until he went for trials at Serbian club Partizan Belgrade. Though he has returned, Medeama are reportedly not willing to sell him to Kotoko as they want to sell him to Belgrade instead.
Boadu, according to the report, impressed the Serbian giants but had to return as they had no slot available for foreign players in their team after they signed Ashanti Gold striker Patrick Agyemang on a season loan.
Medeama are expecting an offer from Belgrade in January, therefore, the decision to keep him at the club until they hear from them.
