Nicolas Mensah was on his way to Dormaa to sign for Aduana Stars FC when he got the call from Asante Kotoko, Oyerepa Radio’s Euguene Adu Poku has revealed.
According to him, Mensah reached an agreement with the Dormaa-based club but he changed his mind when Kotoko called to express interest in him.
While his agent wanted them to go to Dormaa and meet with Aduana officials, Mensah told him he is no longer interested in signing for the club.
Aduana did everything they could to convince him by offering him a plot of land at Sunyani but the young attacker rejected the offer.
Instead, he chose to sign for Kotoko and reunite with his formal teammate Augustine Agyapong.
