Ghanaian gold dealership company, Menzgold has sued the Bank of Ghana and the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC).
Menzgold believes the two state institutions have abuse their office and have damaged the reputation of the company.
The company has sued the Bank of Ghana and SEC to refrain from interfering in their business.
“An order of perpetual injunction to restrain the Bank of Ghana and Securities and Exchange Commission, its officers, servants and agents from interfering with the Menzgold’s business activities or further acts of disobedience and non-compliance with law by publishing any derogatory notices.”
Reports gathered also indicates the company wants the two state institutions to apologize to the company for notices they published against the company.
