Kevin-Prince Boateng has opened up on his move to Barcelona in an interview on the BBC.
Boateng’s move to the Catalan giants came as a shock to football fans and the former AC Milan player told the BBC he was surprised when his manager told him Barcelona wanted him.
He described his move to Barcelona as “not good” in terms of football.
Boateng spent more time on the bench than on the pitch appearing in only three games.
When he was asked about how powerful Messi is in the Barcelona dressing room, Boateng answered: “Of course.”
“He doesn’t even talk a lot; he doesn’t have to talk because he talks on the pitch.”
“He’s the most powerful person in the dressing room,” he said.
Albeit he described his time in Barcelona as not good in terms of football, Boateng also described the move as “a great experience.”
