Ghana’s rising football star, Mohammed Kudus, has shared one of his proudest achievements – moving his mother from the Nima neighborhood to her own house. In an interview with West Ham TV, Kudus expressed his deep gratitude for his mother’s sacrifices in ensuring a good upbringing for him and his siblings.
Kudus, who takes pride in his Nima roots, revealed that his mother used to sell Tuo Zaafi in Nima to support the family financially. Despite facing challenges, she dedicated herself to providing for her children. Kudus acknowledged the significance of her sacrifices and emphasized that he no longer allows her to work as he can now take care of her.
Reflecting on his mother’s selflessness, Kudus shared that her dedication to the family inspired him to work hard when he had the opportunity to play abroad. Upon joining FC Nordjaeslland in Denmark, he wasted no time fulfilling a dream – buying a house for his mother and allowing her to retire from her job. This significant gesture ensured that his mother no longer had to worry about monthly rent payments.
“Moving out of Nima, getting her own house, that’s one of the biggest achievements she is proud of,” Kudus expressed during the interview. He highlighted that providing a comfortable living space for his mother was a fundamental step in expressing his gratitude for her sacrifices.
Mohammed Kudus has emerged as one of Ghana’s notable football exports, leaving a mark in Dutch football and currently making strides in the prestigious Premier League. His journey is not only defined by his success on the field but also by his commitment to honoring and uplifting his family, particularly his mother, who played a significant role in his life.
