Ghanaian footballer, Kingsley Fobi has revealed how badly his father wanted him to play for Kumasi Asante Kotoko.
Yesterday, Fobi in a tweet said he is bored so people should ask him anything.
“Dyu have any plans of playing for any Ghanaian club before retiring in the future and if yes which team,” a man called Obed Asafo asked in a tweet.
Fobi replied the tweet with a photo of himself wearing a Kotoko cap with club’s flag around his neck and shoulder saying his father told him to play for only Kotoko and added he would “love to play for them someday before” he retires.
Interestingly, the flag of Kotoko’s arch-rivals, Accra Hearts of Oak can be seen in the photo he attached to the tweet.
After his tweet, Asante Kotoko retweeted it and commented, “…And we await your arrival.”
Fobi who currently plays for Spanish second division side CD Badajoz on loan from English Premier team Watford FC.
Last year, the Ghanaian defender launched his clothing line in memory of his late father Sergeant Maxwell Fobi who died in 2017.
