My dream was to be spare parts dealer – Black Sherif

While most people Ghanaian kids dream of becoming doctors, lawyers or engineers, Ghanaian musician Black Sherif had his eyes on a different dream job.

Black Sherif also known as Blacko, Killer Blacko or in private life as Mohammed Ismail Sherif has revealed his dream wasn’t to be a musician but rather a Spare Parts dealer.

“It was my dream to become a spar part dealer. It’s a good business in Konongo, where I grew up. My father owns a spare parts shop and it was fun seeing those offloading goods, I used to help. I would have been working with him if music didn’t work for me,” he stated in a recent interview.

Blacko is currently a student at the University of Professional Studies.
