Some unemployed graduates whose NABCO application are still on pending have indicated they will embark on a demonstration if their application does not change from pending to verified soon.
“We all started the application but at a point in time some had their application verified,” a NABCO told The Post.
“Ours changed from Pending to Verified and then changed to Pending again in the evening.”
In an interview on Angel FM, the organizer for NABCO Pending Concern Applicants has asked the government to come out and explain things to them as those who got their application verified are starting work on the 1 October 2018.
“We planned to go to Accra and embark on a demonstration but they told us our application status will change soon.”
After the launch of the program early this year in Kumasi, only 51, 000 people have had their application verified after over 100, 000 people registered for the program.
No official information has been released to indicate when the other applicants will have their application verified or if they will not be selected to enrol in the program.
During the launch of the program, the President indicated only 100, 000 people will be employed under the program to reduce the high unemployment in the country.
