Report from Manhyia Palace indicates the President, Nana Addo met with the Asantehene, Otumfuo Osei Tutu II yesterday to hold talks with him.
Last week, some NPP executives knelt before the Asantehene as there were reports the Asantehene was not happy with some comments made by Gabby Otchere Darko and Nana Asante Bediatuo.
The President according to reports was at the Manhyia Palace with the Ashanti Regional Minister Simon Osei Mensah, Mayor of Kumasi, Hon. Osei Assibey Antwi and other NPP big shots.
According to reports, the closed door meeting was done early in the morning.
Although nothing has been said about the meeting, reports indicate the President was there to plead with the Asantehene to forgive Gabby Otchere Darko and Nana Asante Bediatuo.
