The President, Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo will from tomorrow, Tuesday, February 12, 2019, give Constitutional Instruments (C.Is) to the newly created regions.
The newly created regions, which are six in number were carved out of four of the existing ten regions.
The newly created regions which are North East, Savannah, Bono East, Ahafo, Western North and Oti Regions will have the Constitutional Instrument presented to them publicly by the President.
The schedule for presentations of C.I.S by the President is as follows:
Tuesday, 12 February 2019 – North East and Savannah Regions
Wednesday, 13 February 2019 – Bono East and Ahafo Regions
Friday, 15 February 2019 – Western North and Oti Regions
In a statement issued by the Minister of Information, Kojo Oppong Nkrumah, it indicated that Chiefs and people from the new regions have all been invited to the Jubilee House in Accra where the event will take place.
