Former Asante Kotoko CEO Nana Yaw Amponsah has been named as the club President for Moldovan club FC Petroclub Hîncești.
The club in a statement said they have signed a partnership agreement with a foreign investment company which makes the former Kotoko CEO the new club President.

He takes over from Mikhail Usatîi and his presence in the club has already been felt with the signing of former Kotoko goalkeeper Razak Abalora.

Founded in 1994, the club is popularly known as Petroclub or The White Black or the Hîncești Lions. They play in the Moldovan Super Liga which is the top division in the Moldovan league.
