The CEO of Asante Kotoko, Nana Yaw Amponsah, according reports, has secured a sponsorship deal for the club’s Porcupine Tertiary supporters.
The National Circles Council is the official supporters group of Kotoko but the Porcupine Tertiary has also become one of the recognized supporters group at the moment.
The Porcupine Tertiary was formed by a group of students from the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology and it has become the most vibrant supporters group in the country.
The students’ chants during games have caught the eyes of the CEO and he has reportedly engaged a company in Ghana to sponsor them.
Details about deal is not known at the moment but the sponsor is expected to finance the groups travels whenever they travel with the team to watch games.
