Three men who are suspects in the shooting incident at the NDC Head Office in Kumasi have been put behind bars after surrendering themselves to the police.
Dawuda ‘Wayo’ Ibrahim, 40, Samuel ‘Rock’ Agyin, 32 and Abdul ‘Petit’ Ganiyu, 37 through their lawyer, Evans Amankwaa handed themselves over to the police.
The three men are among the twelve suspects who are wanted by the police in the Ashanti Region.
The men, The Post understands will appear before the court next week as their lawyer wants them to be bailed.
“The police are still pursuing the remaining suspects. They are strongly advised to report in their own interest.
“The general public is again being urged to volunteer information that can lead to the arrest of the other suspects,” the Public Relations Officer of the Ashanti Regional Police command, ASP Godwin Ahianyo, said at a press briefing.
The remaining suspects are Abdul ‘Warrior’ Mohammed, Majima Abu Talaban, Sani ‘Comando’ Mohammed, Jafaru ‘Element’, Fuseini aka Jarule and Demos Fahize Suleman aka Akon are the other suspects who are yet report themselves to the police.
The three men are currently assisting the police in the death of Wassiu Iddrisu who was shot at the NDC Head Office in Kumasi last week.
