Nettey yet to sign new contract as Hearts keep pushing for his signature

Accra Hearts of Oak are pushing harder to secure the signature of Asante Kotoko right-back Christopher Nettey.

According to reports, Nettey’s contract will end on 27th December 2022 but he is yet to sign the new contract Kotoko has offered him.

According to Oyerepa Radio journalist Eugene Adu Poku, Kotoko’s new offer to Nettey is for the rest of the season.

Hearts of Oak as told their captain Fatawu Mohammed who is their second choice right-back to look for a new club as he is not part of the plans of their coach Slavic Matic. Per the report, Nettey is the reason why they are letting Fatawu Mohammed go because they want to create space for him at the club.
