The former CEO of Accra Hearts of Oak has said the club must appoint a Ghanaian as Mark Noonan’s deputy.
Zakor said ‘if you have a foreigner as the Managing Director, you must have a deputy who is Ghanaian’.
He explained that the Ghanaians knows the ins and outs of the Ghanaian football.
He also urged the team to sign players in the coming year and also said Togbe Afede knows what he is doing.
Hearts has not seen any change since the appointment of Mark Noonan as the MD of the club until last month when it was announced that the club will be undergoing a rebranding.
The club unveiled a new badge, wordmark and also announced a deal with British kit sponsor, Umbro.
Three new players have also been signed by the club as well as the appointment of Kim Grant as the head coach.
Zakor is undoubtedly one of the most successful men to ever lead the Phobians. Under his leadership, Hearts of Oak did not only win the Champions League, but it also beat their arch-rivals Kumasi Asante Kotoko at their home ground, at the then Kumasi Sports Stadium to win the CAF Confederation Cup in 2004.
